AgriSuite Il Cedro | Holiday Suites and Apartments

In the Langhe Area, in the shadow of the Cedar Tree: a holiday on the hills of Barolo

A complete view of the Langhe. The warm welcome from a family who loves his own land. Food and wine culture at the service of the tourist. The guaranty of relax and privacy.

Our AgriSuites offer an authentic experience in the UNESCO hills, a World Heritage Site. Each one relays the history and the name of one of the great wines of the Cordero di Montezemolo family Estate; one soul and one property.

In the land of great wines, in the place devoted to love, in the shadow of the great Cedar of Lebanon, planted in 1856 by Costanzo Falletti di Rodello and Eulalia Dalla Chiesa in memory of their wedding and symbol of their love for the land , each apartment offers intimacy with nature.

Your stay at the AgriSuites will amaze you with the grace of the spaces, the sweet embrace of the Langhe landscape and the tastes of a unique territory.

The farming vocation related to the past

The AgriSuite Enrico VI celebrates the history and the unbreakable link with the land by the family. It is possible to discover, through the details and the objects of the furniture, the peasant art that, century after century, has featured the adventure of the winery. Thanks to the union with the simplicity of custom-made industrial furnishings, an all-round experience is guaranteed, as is Barolo Enrico VI. A powerful, austere and exuberant wine, elegant and refined.

The AgriSuite Enrico VI, located on the ground floor, opens towards the swimming pool and turns its sight to Verduno. The large space and the bright living offered to the guests want to be a tribute to conviviality.

According to the laws of Nature

The AgriSuite Gattera interprets and makes its own the splendid color palette of the soils of this hill. From dove gray to hazelnut: all the natural tones chosen make the space enveloping but above all suitable for anyone looking for relaxation. From the bedroom area you can admire the imposing Cedar of Lebanon, the same that shadows the vineyards from which the homonymous wine comes to life: the Barolo Gattera.

The position on the first floor offers AgriSuite Gattera a relaxing view of the swimming pool and a bath of sunlight to be enjoyed in the spacious living area.

The beauty of simplicity

Elegant and sober, the AgriSuite Gorette ensures a fresh and clean atmosphere. Design, lines and furnishings are selected to seek balance and harmony, both in space and with nature. The AgriSuite is embellished with a private balcony, overlooking the La Morra hill. Here, only in the best vintages, the bunches of old vines from the vineyard at the foot of the Cedar are selected and turned into an opulent wine. Barolo Gorette Riserva, offered exclusively to the Estate’s visitors, is all about that.

Located on the first floor, the AgriSuite Gorette opens onto two views: towards La Morra and Verduno from the bedroom area and towards the Cedar of Lebanon from the living room.

Contrast games

It was and is: the story of a family united with the earth and committed to its care. The vintage furnishings are linked to country life and the peasant vocation handed down generation after generation. The structure of the apartment, overlooking the pergola of the garden, gives life to an alternation between modernity and tradition. The right combination also expressed in the wine which takes the same name: Barbera d’Alba Superiore Funtanì. A complex, firm and fascinating taste, which offers splendid emotions even after many years.

The AgriSuite Funtanì is located on the ground floor. It enjoys a large outdoor area sheltered by a pergola, a few steps from the swimming pool and with a view of the bell tower of La Morra.

  • The Cedar of Lebanon

Like a monument: to be admired and photographed.

Il. cedro del Libano - Agrisuite Il Cedro, La Morra

A symbol: distinctive feature of the Langhe and pride of its inhabitants. The Cedar of Lebanon stands out among the vineyards of La Morra, powerful, it stands among the UNESCO World Heritage hills, assuming so the title of place of inspiration, panoramic space and natural lookout point.

The evergreen conifer tells a double love story: planted by Costanzo Falletti di Rodello and Eulalia Della Chiesa di Cervignasco, descendants of the current Cordero di Montezemolo heirs, he had to remember his wedding, celebrated in 1856, and remind future generations their strong connection to this territory.

At its feet are the 28 hectares of vineyards of Tenuta Monfalletto, a century-old source of grapes used for the production of wines from the Cordero di Montezemolo cellar.

Cordero di Montezemolo

19 generations and 7 centuries: One family, the same passion for wine in the heart of the Langhe.

The AgriSuites rise within the vineyards at the Cordero di Montezemolo winery a few meters from the historic buildings. Both owned by the family, they bring with them a story that began back in 1340. Elena and Alberto, together with their father Giovanni, will accompany you to discover their wines.

The winery is located in the heart of the Langhe and the area for the production of Barolo wine. A winery that passionately produces typical “Albese” wines starting from vineyards grown directly by the Estate, under organic farming and with the furthermost respect for the quality and tradition of the Langa.
